The Premise

Humanity, facing a doomed Earth, attempts to save itself and is inadvertently pulled through a black hole into a new time and space: a shattered, chaotic region of the cosmos dubbed The Drift. This galaxy has been torn apart by rogue stars, disrupted gravity, and dark-matter destabilization.

Survivors discover the Meridian, a partial, fragmented planet built up by an ancient civilization. It is a modern and fully functioning city hub, carrying an unmistakable intelligence and intentionality in its design. The Meridian becomes the stranded survivors' new core city and, consequently, the hub from which they undertake engineering and trade, and slowly attempt to uncover the ancient, untold secrets to better themselves in the new life they've found.
